I always argue with musicians when they tell me chant is too difficult for people to learn. They see the notation and their modern music minds recoil. The notation in reality is actually simpler and easier than modern music and the chants are closer to human speech than most other modern music.
In this video, Johnny, who is 6, sings the Regina Coeli after going to chant camp at St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park.
